Albert Rd. (A New Beginning)
In 2017, after Almost 20 years, Father & Son, George & Jason Albert came together again to form the musical duo, Albert Rd. At the end of 2018 they added drummer and long time friend, Jimmy Germinaro. They are currently taking bookings for the Southern Wisconsin the area. While the song list is an ever forming process they are currently offering a variety of music from several genres including: Classic Rock, Rockabilly, Country, & Pop.
George Albert, Guitar Player & Vocalist, has played with bands in the Racine area for over 40 years. He's played with The Dazz Band, The Pony Express Band, The Free Wheelin' Band, & All The Kings Men.
Jason Albert, Bass Player & Vocalist, has played with The Free Wheelin' Band, worked in Richard Ivory Studios out of New Jersey as a vocalist, & Blued Chrome which was a blues based band out of Texas.
Jimmy Germinaro, drummer, has been in the Southern Wisconsin music scene since 1978 with bands like Butch Wax & the Glass Packs and Rock, Roll, & Remember. Jimmy also played with George Albert in The Free Wheelin' Band and All the Kings Men.
George Albert grew up on an old dirt road in foothills of Northwest Pennsylvania in a town called, Hilliards. The street he grew up on was named Albert Rd. because the Albert family home was the only house on the street. Jason grew up listening to his family's many stories about growing up on that street. It was decided that "Albert Rd. " not only helped define this family, but would also expound their music together as a band.
